| 09 Aug 16 - The new Yahoo blog server does not seem to be up yet, so this will get longer. Things have been really busy around here lately, so I haven't gotten much done on the website. We've had some pretty good sessions even while dealing with typical summer absences. I have updated the images on the Urkana page and added some news about Domains for the Urkanan deities. The A4E journal has been updated. DDI's Monster Builder has been extremely helpful converting 3.5 monsters to 4E monsters. Started setting up a page for Listen to Tomorrow, a Traveller novel set in the New Era. Geo 09 Aug 2 - Added some more to the A4E conversion pages and updated the A4E main page to reflect the new characters. Geo 09 Jul 31 - Updated the A4E campaign journal. I'm ahead of the charcters in the conversion, but behind them on my notes. Maybe this weekend I can catch up. It is supposed to be raining most of the weekend. Geo 09 Jul 23 - Updated the A4E campaign journal. I hope to get some more up on the conversion notes before this weekend. Geo 09 Jul 16 - Reflecting on Apollo 11 today. It has been too long since we last stood on the moon. I updated the campaign journal with Tuesday's session and added some to the conversion notes. Geo 09 Jul 12 - Added some more to the Age of Worms to 4E conversion notes. Geo 09 Jul 09 - I've been sprucing up some of my pages and adding content to the site. Because drawing the Fast Escort is taking so long, I have added a teaser in the form of the Ship's Boat from that drawing. Geo 09 Jul 05 - Added some more to the conversion notes for A4E and reformatted some so there is more room for text. Geo 09 Jul 04 - Added a campaign journal and conversion notes for A4E to the A4E page. Geo 09 Jul 01 - Kicked off the A4E game last night and it went pretty well. The group got out of Diamond Lake and are on their way to the Whispering Cairn. I have 4 players right now and they have an NPC that is travelling with them for a little bit. It is not too late to add another player. Geo 09 Jun 26 - I have at least 4 players, so the game is a go. I haven't heard from two folks on the list, so there may still be an opening. Today's ECG preview had information on the Mournland and some monsters. Geo 09 Jun 23 - The party for A4E is stating to shape up. What I know of it now is posted on the A4E page (use link at left). Geo 09 Jun 22 - Today's ECG had some snippets of information about another of the 5 nations and travel in Eberron. Of course the characters are not likely to be traveling far at 1st level. Geo 09 Jun 20 - Yesterday's Eberron Campaign Guide sneak peak had some information about Breland. If you don't have the EPG yet and have never played Eberron, I suggest you give it a look as A4E will be starting in Breland. Everyone for A4E should have an image available to make a token from (or make your own token if you have Token Tool). I expect to need them sometime in the first session, so we want to be ready to go. The close escort, is coming along as I have time. I have changed the designation to fast escort and named it the Greyling Class after the character of a friend. Geo 09 Jun 17 - Oh, look! The first Tuesday in July is really the last Tuesday in June. For some insane reason, I thought the 1st was a Tuesday. So, the launch day is the 30th. Some of you have been talking up your ideas. I'd like to hear more. Geo 09 Jun 16 - Today is the official release of the Eberron Player's Guide. Everyone planning on playing should start making a character. Geo 09 Jun 12 - The sneak peeks on the website cover Heroic Class Feats. Today's Podcast has a good overview of Eberron 4E. I picked up a copy of EPG today. It has one new class (Artificer) and three new races (Changeling, Kalashtar, and Warforged). Although Artificer and Warforged have been around, these are now the official versions and cleaned up some by playtesting. I have moved Kalashtar from the list of restricted races to unrestricted races. If you have not been able to obtain a copy of the EPG, I can answer most questions you have from it. I look forward to hearing what your character concepts are for A4E. Geo 09 Jun 10 - A lot of EPG sneak peaks around the web. Some are on the Facebook DnD fan section. The "Steal This Hook" on WotC has images of changelings and one of their racial powers. Geo 09 Jun 08 - Today's EPG sneak peek is a Epic Destiny. While the text is somewhat tailored for Eberron, it does look useful for any game. Geo 09 Jun 07 - Two more EPG sneak peeks coming this week and then they start on ECG. A4E is getting closer. If you have a concept for your character let me know so I can post it. That does not commit you to that, it is just a tool so we can start getting an idea of what the party will look like. If you are on the waiting list and don't think you will be able to join the campaign, let me know so that I can modify the waiting list. I have provided some new information on the A4E Home and Character pages. Geo 09 Jun 05 - Bonus EPG sneak peeks today. In the Coming Attractions article, we get a look at one of the Dragonmarked Houses, each of which look like they will provide several options. In the regular EPG sneak peek, we see some Eberron rituals. It seems that some rituals are tied to dragonmarks. We also get a quick look at one of the dragonmarks, which look like they will once again be Feats. Geo 09 June 04 - Started work on a Close Escort for Traveller. Working with the CT design system, but the associated deck plans should work with any version of Traveller. I considered redrawing the Gazelle, but have chosen to do a different design. After all there are probably hundreds of different versions in the Imperium alone. Geo 09 June 01 - Today's EPG preview is a paragon class for warforged. Geo 09 May 29 - Today's EPG preview gives us a glimpse of Eberron's religions. Those who played Eberron in the past won't really find many surprises here. Some of the alignments changed because of the change in the alignment system for 4E. Geo 09 May 27 - A third EPG preview is up on the WotC site. This one has a new paragon class for artificers - the Self Forged. The next update looks at Religions for Eberron. Geo 09 May 25 - The A4E character set-up information has been moved to its own page. Geo 09 May 24 - I have added the deck plans for the Serpent class scout ship (of Paranoia Press fame) to the starship section. These are redrawn deckplans based on Don Rapp's original work but with more interior detail. Geo 09 May 23 - The second EPG preview is up with a list of alchemical items and some samples. Geo 09 May 18 - The first EPG (Eberron Player's Guide) preview is up. The first one gives an overview of some of the premises of Eberron. Geo 09 May 17 - I have started putting player information on the Age of Worms Page so you can start planning ahead. I hope to put more up on the page soon. As soon as you start getting a character idea let me know and I will start putting them up. That won't commit you to the concept, but it will help others start getting their concepts. Geo 09 May 05 - Several changes have occured since my last update. First, the old Urkana site has been closed. Second, the Reign of the Winter Queen campaign has ended. Third, because WotC is releasing the Eberron Player's Handbook first, I can move up the start date of the Age of Worms 4E campaign. You can navigate to the Age of Worms campaign page from the Urkana front page. Fourth, Geocities is closing. I am not sure if that will effect me or not because I am using Yahoo Webhosting. Geo |
